I'm a student learning database, and I'm working on developping a web application that can be used to trace person's life. But I'm facing a big problem. I don't know how to use database to store the needed information of a person's life that will be used for visualization later.

I'm not sure what you're looking for, but it sounds like you might need to learn about databases in general. MySQL is a good place to start.
I think lifetracer ask for fields (tips) to store in database.
Eg.: First Name,Last Name,Date of Birth,etc...
