I have what I think is a cool idea for an online game - identify the place based on the topography. The thing is, I haven't the first clue where to get good, simple topographical data and then display the map. There are topo maps out there, but they are generally contour line-based and include lots of other info that would give away the answer. Ideally the graphic would be a very simple topo map with color intensity or shading to indicate the different altitudes. Any ideas?
