Large pile of ranking data. Anyone want to do something fun with it?

  1. So I have this site, http://therighttool.hammerprinciple.com

It's about ranking programming languages according to how well various statements apply to them. I've got a lot of interesting data, and I'm doing nightly data dumps of it: http://data.hammerprinciple.com/the-right-tool.tar.bz2

I'm not an infovis person (I've done a bit, but I suck at it), so I've mostly been focusing on numeric and text measures: Descriptions, similar languages and statements, etc, but I'd love it if someone who was interested would play with some interesting visualisations of it.

    So, anyone up for it?

  2. hmm, interesting. i might give this a go when i find a moment...

  3. Sorry about the initial forum misplacement. I realised it was wrong, but couldn't figure out how to delete or move the post...

Glad you're interested! Let me know if you need a hand with any of the data or want any of the derived calculations - I think all the raw data is in the data dumps, but not much of the derived is.
