I'm trying to find a way to illustrate the growth potential of apparel eCommerce on a single slide. Here's the story:
Only 7% of clothes are sold online. In comparison, 50% of computers are sold online.
Viewer thinks: "yes, clothing eCommerce is indeed very insignificant"
Yet, apparel is eCommerce biggest category, with more sales online than anything else.
Viewer thinks: "OMG, there's such a growth potential with apparel eCommerce!"
If shown with two slides, the story evolves and has a punchline ("clothing sales are so small" > "clothing sales are enormous and can grow fast"). On a single slide, like Illustration #2 only, the story gets lost, and the growth potential is less obvious.
Any suggestions how to design such infographics; or maybe you can just point me to a freelancer who does these kind of designs?
