I've been working with data visualization in its various forms for years. Until now, however, I never have had the need or opportunity to have a professional high-quality print made of any of my work. I deviated away from data to create a generative drawing that I want to have printed on some nice archival quality paper so that I can have it framed and hang it in my house. In fact, it's a birthday present for my wife.
So... anybody know anything about printing and/or printers? What am I looking for here? When I google printers, I end up with a bunch of hits for companies that makes brochures and banners for booths at trade shows.
I would appreciate any advice about how to locate, vet, and hire a high quality print shop!
Thanks!
