I live in Raleigh, NC, and there is a big political fight over the diversity policy in schools in our county. The head of the school board presented this powerpoint (published on the local news station), to argue for getting rid of the policy. Granted, it is not completely fair to judge one's powerpoint without seeing the presentation, but shouldn't the illustrations and graphs stand on their own?
Offending graphics on slides 5, 6, 7, 10, 12, and 13. I see this as a case where the poor use of graphics confuses rather than clears up the issue.
Thanks!
Scott
