We are seeking a talented and motivated 'Web Application Developer'/ 'Data Visualization Developer' to join our team to help continue to expand and enhance our online GIS products. Our ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial mind and a passion for the development of web-based applications. You should be fluent in web development and database design, and are motivation by innovation. Should know PHP and KML programming.
This is a contract-based position.
You can work remotely, flexible times.
Role and Responsibilities
•Design and development of web-based GIS applications
•Implement GIS concepts and functionality through web-based technologies- and data visualization concepts
•Update, test, and maintain websites
•Design, maintain, and enhance MySQL databases
Requirements
•Expert Knowledge of KML, PHP / Cake PHP, HTML, CSS, Java, XML
•Experience with MySQL database design and development
•Experience with third-party application integration
•Familiarity with Google Earth, 3D modelling, and texturing
•emonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and in team environment
•Ability to work independently from remote location
•Conceptual understanding of GIS frameworks and technologies preferred
