ActionScript 3 reference book

  1. In April 2008 Nathan recommended Essential ActionScript 3.0 by Colin Moock as his only desktop reference (when programming in ActionScript). For an experienced Java programmer who has done a bit of Flex/ActionScript (with the aid of Flex3 by Brown and the Adobe online reference) is Moock's book still the best around?

  2. Actually, that's changed for me (although it's still an O'Reilly book).

    I primarily use the Actionscript 3.0 Cookbook and Google for my Actionscript needs now that I've gotten the hang of things. For more in depth reading though, I still think Moock's is best.
