We’re looking for an analytics product manager to design, develop and manage all the systems and processes required to make business decisions that are informed by data. The position is strategic to the company and works cross functionally with product, engineering, marketing and finance to provide the metrics and insight necessary to grow our business.
Responsibilities:
• Creation of the data analytics strategy spanning multiple departments: product, marketing, security threat analysis, support, finance, and operations
• Definition of key product metrics: acquisition, conversion, retention, etc.
• Collection and organization of data from multiple sources: databases, analytics packages, etc.
• Visualization and analysis of product related and other business data
• Foster a “culture of data” by creating the tools and processes necessary to enable departments to access and analyze business data.
• Productization of data into existing and new products
Skills
Requirements:
• Must love data and teasing out its secrets.
• Great communicator who easily works across departments
• Experience with Weka, R or similar tools, Excel data functions such as pivot tables, solver and statistical functions preferred.
• Experience working in MySQL, Ruby (preferred), MongoDB, Python, Django or comparable environment
• Strong in HTML and CSS
• MS/BS in Computer Science or related background preferred

This is a full time position located at Lookout’s HQ in downtown San Francisco. You will report directly to the VP of Product.
