Part of the reason for the lack of context is that this was part of a larger presentation in which the information was discussed at length, this was just meant as a way to show them the same information, not in an ugly spreadsheet (kind of like the whole drawing the moth to the flame thing).</p> <p>The reason for alternating the text was when it was all on one side it looked like a paragraph, and it just didn't sit right with me.</p> <p>Those of you who asked about the "weight" of the colors -- they hold no meaning, just so people can differentiate rows quicker. I agree a better way of doing it would have to been to only color the outliers (like a sound system).</p> <p>Nathan, the 45 degree angle idea is a good one, I thought of that, only a little too late and the deadline was staring me in the face. </p> <p>To Tim, the blurred words do have meaning, but nothing significant. Even without the blur, i would be surprised if any of it was familiar. </p> <p>I like the idea of turning it 90 degrees, for readabilities sake. Also keep in mind this was a 40 inch plus poster on a wall during a presentation meeting.
